President, CEO, and Co-founder
Don Casson is President, CEO, and Co-founder of Evergreen Systems Inc. Don has more than 17 years of experience in leading, building, managing, and operating technology companies. He has led market development and shaped the technical direction of business units focused on internal and call center solutions, network management systems, complex networks, and workflow/document management solutions.
Before co-founding Evergreen, Don was Executive Vice President and the third employee of Global Management Systems, Inc. (GMSI). During Don's five-year tenure, GMSI grew from 3 employees to 175 employees and more than $17 million in annual revenues. Inc. Magazine recognized these efforts by listing the company in the top 100 on their list of the 500 fastest growing, privately held firms in the U.S. Don is a graduate of the College of William and Mary.

Vice President of Consulting Services
Joe has over 12 years experience in leading customers through infrastructure improvements, helping them focus specifically on business process management as an effective way to realize business value. As an Evergreen Vice President, Joe is charged with managing and growing Evergreen's Business Consulting Practice; a practice responsible for bringing industry best practices and ITIL standards to our customer's IT environments.
Joe is an expert in the processes and technologies required to implement integrated problem, asset, and change solutions. Serving in previous roles as consultant, project manager, and business development manager, Joe has a broad base of experience he leverages in providing world-class solutions to Evergreen customers. He often leads Evergreen's largest business process engagements, serving as both executive contact and project manager.
Before joining Evergreen, Joe served as Customer Service Manager for Companion Technologies, a technology company focused on delivering IT solutions to the health care market. While at Companion, Joe ran their national service operations.
A University of North Carolina alumnus, Joe has a degree in Business Administration.
Director of Consulting Services
Tony heads Evergreen Systems' Ohio Valley consulting group, and brings more than 30 years of experience to his clients in the areas of IT strategy development, process design, implementation and management of strategic partners.
Tony joined Evergreen Systems in 2005 after a 22 year career with Hewlett Packard, where he held positions with the Consulting and Integration organization and the sales organization, including Senior consultant, Senior project Manager, Principal Consultant and Global Director. Tony pioneered early client adoption of HP's IT Service Management Model based on ITIL, and has worked with Fortune 500 clients in a variety of industries including Automotive, High Tech, Process, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, and Financial Services.
Tony's background includes IT consultation to both the medium and large enterprise markets, and spans a variety of technologies and applications (including ERP, RAD and supply chain management). Tony holds ITIL Essentials certification, and conducts training and seminars on ITIL. He specializes in the financial services vertical industries, and has lectured and presented extensively on Configuration Management and the development of Configuration Databases. Tony's latest seminar examined 'real world' case study examples from the banking sector on the development of Configuration Management Databases.
Tony holds a B.A. in Business from Cleveland State, is 1975 graduate of the Gould Management Training program, and is APICs and ITIL certified.
Director of Finance and Accounting
Pat has more than 27 years of experience in public and corporate accounting and finance. She has a broad background in day-to-day operations, financial planning and organizational restructuring.
For the past 21 years, Pat has held various senior-level finance and management positions. Before joining Evergreen in 2000, she served as the Controller for Transaction Network Services, Inc, a public company with over 100M in revenue. Prior to TNSI, she held three positions at Fortune Telecommunications, Inc: General Manager, V P Finance and CFO. During her employment at Fortune, she played a key role in growing the company from Chapter 11 reorganization to a viable company, tripling the customer base and the revenue base with no staff increases. She was actively involved in its merger with TNSI in 1994.
Pat also has extensive experience in reorganizations, as she was the Controller for White Motors Reorganization Trust for 5 years. She had primary treasury responsibility for $15M in undistributed funds and she played a key role in the sale and liquidation of its multi-billion dollar assets.
Pat has a Bachelors degree from Indiana University in Pennsylvania. She is currently completing a Masters in Business Administration.
Director of Technical Services
Walt has over 14 years experience in the technology industry helping customers improve their IT infrastructure. As an Evergreen Director, Walt is charged with overseeing and continuously improving Evergreen's technical services delivery. In addition to managing Evergreen's technical resources, this role includes bridging the gap between process and technology, ensuring our technical solutions drive business value.
Walt is an expert in the implementation of service management and asset management solutions. Serving in previous roles as an implementation consultant, project manager, and regional manager, Walt has a broad base of experience he leverages in providing world-class solutions to Evergreen customers.
Before joining Evergreen, Walt worked at GMSI with Evergreen co-founders John Wimbrough and Don Casson. Before changing his focus to concentrate in the area of service and asset management, Walt worked as a Certified Netware Engineer (CNE) helping to design, build and manage LANs and WANs.
A graduate of Virginia Tech, Walt has a BS degree in Management Science - Decision Support Systems from the College of Business.
Director of Marketing
Jill joins Evergreen Systems with more than 25 years experience in marketing for IT, telecommunications, hardware and software companies. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Jill started her marketing career with Pacific Bell and AT&T and went on to work for a number of Silicon Valley high technology companies, including 3COM and Cisco Systems.
As a marketing consultant for the last ten years, Jill has developed marketing strategy, marketing programs and market analysis for hosting, internet, domain, software and hardware and information technology firms, large and small. She retired from consulting to drive Evergreen's marketing and branding efforts and now specializes in internet and online marketing programs.
Jill holds a B.A. from North Texas State University and an M.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
